Variants

SR-3

Early model optimized for concealed carry for VIP protection. Features a smaller forward grip than SR-3M and the metal stock folds over the top. This makes the SR-3 very compact in stowed configuration, but prohibits the use of optics.

SR-3M

Main production model with AS Val style side folding stock, safety and charging handle. This type of stock is much sturdier and allows for a Soviet type sight bracket on the left of the receiver. It also introduced a new handguard with foldable forward grip.

SR-3MP

Updated production model introduced in the 2010's. Features an accessory rail on the feed cover for mounting optics. The stock can be repositioned to the the bottom of the pistol grip, allowing easier use of helmets with ballistic face mask.

AS Val

The SR-3 is derived from the AS Val silent assault rifle. The SR-3M is much closer to the AS Val design, using the same side folding stock, sight bracket, charging handle and controls.

9A91

The 9A91 fulfills a similar role as the SR-3 and was developed as a competitor. It featured many of the same disadvantages as the early model SR-3 and is no longer in production.
